Plot: Jackie and Coco follows the extraordinary journey of an Irish mother to find meaning following the tragic suicide of her beloved daughter, Nicole (Coco), due to online bullying. When Nicole died, Jackie vowed to never let any other mother experience such horror - nor any other child be driven to such a devastating end. She also vowed to create a legacy for her daughter, Coco. For three years, Jackie Fox campaigned tirelessly to change Irish law to make online bullying a crime. She not only managed to achieve this but against all precedent, she also managed to have the law named after her daughter: Coco's Law. Her bravery and courage then took her to the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg where Jackie continued her efforts to make online bullying a crime across the entire European Union affecting 750 million people. Jackie and Coco is about loss, grief and the devastating reality of a loved one dying by suicide. Ultimately, however, it is a story about love and the desperate effort one woman undertakes to find a place to channel hers for her daughter in the wake of her tragic death.
